Common questions

Does non-alcoholic tequila taste like tequila?

The best come close in a cocktail. Bottles made with real agave, such as Almave, taste most like tequila; others build the flavor from botanicals and spice. On their own they taste lighter, because alcohol adds body and heat, so most are made to be mixed.

Which non-alcoholic tequila is 0.0%?

Seedlip Notas de Agave and Little Saints St. Ember are labeled 0.0%. Most others, including Ritual, Almave, Lyre's, Free Spirits and Monday, are labeled under 0.5%, the US limit for non-alcoholic, which can mean a trace.

Is Seedlip Notas de Agave safe in pregnancy?

It is labeled 0.0% alcohol, so it has no measurable alcohol, which is why many people choose 0.0% drinks in pregnancy. Its botanicals include damiana, so check the full ingredient list with your doctor or midwife.

Can you drink non-alcoholic tequila neat?

You can, but most are made for mixing and taste thin on their own. Almave Ámbar is the best for sipping, over a large ice cube with an orange peel.
