Cocktail Tools, Glassware & Bar Accessories
A non-alcoholic drink asks slightly more of its equipment than an alcoholic one. Dilution has to be judged rather than assumed, aroma needs help escaping the glass, and carbonation has to survive from the bottle to the first sip. What is here is the small end of that: the tools for measuring, chilling, stirring and pouring, and the glassware that makes the difference between a drink that reads flat and the same drink that does not.

What glass should a non-alcoholic cocktail go in?
The same one its alcoholic version would use, and it matters more rather than less. Alcohol lifts aroma out of a glass on its own; without it, a bowl that collects and concentrates the aroma is doing work that nothing else will do.
Why does ice matter so much?
Because dilution is harder to judge with no alcohol to stand up to it. Large, clear cubes melt slower and let a drink stay at its intended strength longer. Small or wet ice will water a drink down before it is finished.
What keeps a sparkling bottle from going flat?
A proper sparkling stopper, which clamps rather than plugs, and refrigeration between pours. A dealcoholized sparkling wine loses its bubble a little faster than one with alcohol, so an open bottle is a day or two rather than several.
