Other disclosures
We may disclose personal information where required by law, to enforce our terms, or in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets.
4 — How long we keep it
We keep personal information for as long as it’s needed for the purposes described above — to fulfil orders, support your account, meet our tax and accounting obligations, and resolve any disputes.
You can ask us to delete your information at any time. Email info@beclink.com and we’ll remove what we’re not legally required to keep. Completed order records generally have to be retained for tax purposes even after an account is closed.
Some information is kept as a natural consequence of how our systems work — for example, messages you send us are stored with our email and support tools. If you’d like something specific removed, just ask.
5 — Cookies and tracking
Cookies are small files stored by your browser. We use them for three things:
- Essential functions — keeping items in your cart, keeping you logged in, and remembering where you are in checkout. The site doesn’t work without these.
- Analytics — understanding how people use the site so we can improve it. We use Google Analytics for this.
- Advertising — measuring whether our ads work, and showing relevant ads on other platforms. We use the Meta (Facebook) Pixel and Google’s advertising tools for this.
How to control cookies. Every major browser lets you block or delete cookies in its settings. Blocking essential cookies will stop the cart and checkout from working; blocking analytics and advertising cookies won’t affect your ability to shop with us.
You can also opt out of Google Analytics using Google’s browser add-on, and adjust ad personalisation in your Google and Meta account settings.
6 — Your choices
Whatever the law requires of a business our size, these are things you can always do:
- See what we hold about you. Email info@beclink.com and we’ll tell you.
- Ask us to correct it. Or update your details yourself by logging into your account.
- Ask us to delete it. We’ll remove what we’re not legally required to keep.
- Unsubscribe from marketing email. Use the link at the bottom of any message, or email us. This won’t stop order confirmations and shipping updates — those are part of your order, not marketing.
- Control cookies — see Section 5.
We’ll respond to any of these within a reasonable time, usually within a few days. We may need to confirm who you are before sharing or deleting account information, to make sure we’re not giving your data to someone else.
7 — Security
We take reasonable measures to protect your personal information, including encrypted connections (HTTPS) across the site and restricted internal access to customer data.
No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
8 — Children’s privacy
Our site is intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, email info@beclink.com and we’ll delete it.
9 — Third-party links
Our site links to other websites. We’re not responsible for their privacy practices, and this policy doesn’t cover them. Please read their policies before providing personal information.
10 — Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. Changes take effect when posted on this page, and we’ll update the “last updated” date above. Material changes will be communicated more directly where the law requires.
