Accessibility

beClink exists because people should be able to choose what they drink without having to explain themselves. If our website is the thing standing between you and a good drink, that’s a barrier too — and one we’d rather fix.

Why this matters to us

People choose non-alcoholic drinks for all sorts of reasons — pregnancy, medication, recovery, training, faith, or simply not wanting a drink tonight. None of them requires an explanation, and none of them should mean settling for whatever’s left on the shelf.

That belief is the whole reason beClink exists: real choice, honestly labelled, for anyone who wants it.

Accessibility is the same idea applied to the website. If someone can’t navigate our site with a screen reader, can’t read our text at the size they need, or can’t complete an order with a keyboard, then the choice we’re offering isn’t real for them. So we treat that as a problem to fix, not a nice-to-have.

Our commitment

We’re working to make beclink.com usable for everyone, including people who browse with screen readers, keyboard navigation, screen magnification, or other assistive technology.

We use the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, Level AA as our reference standard. We’re not claiming we meet every criterion today — we’re telling you what we’re working toward, and being straight about the fact that it’s ongoing.

What we’ve done

Recent work includes:

  • Using proper headings, landmarks, and form labels so screen readers can navigate our pages
  • Restoring pinch-to-zoom on mobile, which had been disabled
  • Correcting text and background colour combinations that didn’t meet contrast requirements
  • Adding descriptive labels to links that previously contained only an icon
  • Making sure interactive elements can be reached and used with a keyboard

What we’re still working on

We’d rather tell you this than pretend otherwise:

  • We haven’t audited every page yet. Our help and support pages have had the most attention; product, cart, and checkout pages are next.
  • Some third-party tools we rely on — payment providers, our chat assistant, product filters — aren’t fully under our control. We report problems to those vendors when we find them.
  • Some older product images don’t have descriptive alt text. We’re working through them.

If something doesn’t work

Please tell us. If you hit a barrier anywhere on beclink.com, email info@beclink.com and describe what happened — the page, what you were trying to do, and what got in the way. If you use assistive technology, telling us which one helps us reproduce the problem.

We read every message and reply within 1 business day.

And if the website is in your way, we’ll work around it. If you’d rather place an order or ask a question by email, we’ll help you directly.

Feedback and updates

We review this page as we make changes. If we complete a formal accessibility audit, we’ll say so here and update what we’re able to claim.
