Description
The red in Élivo’s Zero Zero Deluxe range, built from Tempranillo and Cabernet Sauvignon and carrying the house’s DEMADERA technique, which brings the character of barrel time across into a wine that has had its ethanol removed.
It pours cherry-red with violet at the rim. There is real tannin here rather than the impression of it, and enough acidity to keep the fruit from settling into sweetness — which is what makes it a wine for a Tuesday plate rather than a special occasion.
Closed with a synthetic cork, so it takes a corkscrew like any other bottle of red. Six glasses at a 125 mL pour.
