Festive Fall Drinks Without Alcohol

Happy
October! Fall is officially here, and with it comes the cool chill in the air,
crunchy, colorful leaves along the road and of course, the sweet smell of
pumpkin spice drifting through the breeze. Fall is definitely a fan-favorite
season, but for those who choose to live an alcohol-free lifestyle, it can also
be a challenging time.

Not
only does fall boast Halloween—a major holiday for drinking—but it also
includes football season, haunted houses and even Thanksgiving, all of which
can incorporate quite a bit of alcohol with friends and family. These types of
environments can make the season of fall difficult for people who choose to
live alcohol-free.

Fortunately,
there are still quite a few drinks out there which can entice the senses and
tickle the taste buds with the flavors of fall, all without a single drop of
alcohol. If you strive to live an alcohol-free lifestyle, but aren’t sure where
to start this fall, fear not. We have you covered with a few of our favorite
festive fall drinks without alcohol.

1. Apple Cider

If
you want the classic taste of fall in a cup, then look no further than
apple cider. Apple cider tends to be a
favorite among both adults
and kids
because of its warm, spiced flavor and smooth texture. It’s the perfect
beverage to sip on during a cool fall evening, or bring a thermos with you when
you go out to the pumpkin patch with friends.

2. Chai Tea Latte

Nowadays,
you can order a chai tea latte from practically any coffee shop, but a quick
search online can also give you some ideas for how to make your own at
home—like this one
here. This cinnamon concoction
smells and tastes like complete comfort, so try a cup of it to unwind on the
couch after a long day out in the brisk fall wind.

3. Candy Corn Punch

Have
you ever heard of candy corn punch? Neither had we until recently, but we’re
already excited to give it a try this season! Candy corn punch is often a
favorite among the kids, but is also the perfect drink for adult parties and
gatherings during the fall. Check out this recipe
here to stir up some candy corn
punch this October.

4. Sparkling Cider

Of
course, hot apple isn’t the only way you can go with cider in the fall.
Domestically Blissful lists a great sparkling
cider recipe which uses apple cider, cranberry soda, sparkling cider, white
grape juice and just a hint of spicers for a cool fall drink everyone can
enjoy. Add in some diced apples and you have a beautifully refreshing drink to
sip on, minus the worry of alcohol.

5. Pumpkin Pie Smoothie

We
love pumpkin pie at BeClink, so when we saw a
recipe for a pumpkin pie smoothie,
we knew we had to include it. It has all the great flavors of fall in a cup,
plus with a little extra added protein, so you can feel confident in what you
consume. Pour it into a wine glass and sip it at home, or take it on the road
with you for flavor throughout the fall day.

6. Hot Chocolate

For
those fall-goers who love a classic drink this time of year, hot chocolate is
always the ideal way to go. Whether you’re hosting an event, attending an event
or going out to a haunted house, consider bringing a thermos of hot chocolate
with you to keep you warm on those cold fall evenings. If you’re not sure where
to start,
Taste of Home has a great homemade hot
cocoa recipe to try out.

7. Non-Alcoholic Wine

Finally,
for those fall nights when you want to feel extra sophisticated but don’t want
to worry about alcohol, give non-alcoholic wine a try. Not only does it taste
the same as regular wine, but you can even pick out some of your favorite fall
flavors to enjoy. Check out a few samples
here for a safe, classy twist on a common
fall beverage.

Fall is finally here, and with it comes some
challenges for those who choose to live life alcohol-free. Between the sports,
the holidays and the events, alcohol can be a common occurrence during the fall
season. But, you can easily avoid alcohol these next few months by trying out
some of these festive fall drinks. Give them a shot and see how you enjoy fall
with a safe and healthy lifestyle.
