Non-Alcoholic Brachetto
An aromatic red from Piedmont, floral and strawberry-scented, almost always made sparkling and usually off-dry. It is closer in spirit to Moscato than to a still red.

When should I pour Brachetto?
With dessert, or as dessert. It is light, aromatic and gently sweet, and one of the few reds that belongs at the end of a meal — chilled properly, alongside berries or dark chocolate.
Is Brachetto sweet?
Usually off-dry rather than fully sweet, and the aroma makes it read sweeter than it measures. The sugar figure is on each product page. Its acidity keeps it from cloying, which is why it works at the end of a meal rather than sitting heavy.
What temperature suits Brachetto?
Properly cold, around 43°F, colder than you would serve most reds. The chill tightens the strawberry and floral aromatics and keeps the sweetness in proportion. It goes in a flute or a tulip rather than a red glass.
