More about Luminara
Who they are
Luminara comes from Trinchero Family Estates, a California wine company that has been family-owned and run from St. Helena since 1948. The same family built Sutter Home, and Luminara is where they turned that experience toward wine made without alcohol.
The brand rests on a single argument: appellation. Rather than sourcing broadly, Luminara set out to make the first Napa Valley appellated wine of its kind, on the reasoning that when there is nothing to hide behind, the quality of the fruit is the only thing left.
Napa Valley remains the home of the range. A Paso Robles Cabernet Sauvignon joined it in 2025, drawn from the Central Coast for a riper and more open style alongside the Napa bottlings.

No. Each wine contains less than 0.5% alcohol by volume, the level US law sets for a non-alcoholic drink.
Where does the fruit come from?
Napa Valley for the Chardonnay, the Red Blend, one Cabernet Sauvignon and the Sparkling. The second Cabernet Sauvignon comes from Paso Robles, on the Central Coast.
How is the alcohol removed?
The wine is made at full strength first, then the alcohol is taken out. Luminara describe the technology as proprietary and do not name it.
