About Pinot Noir

Wander + Found Pinot Noir in 750 mL, a dealcoholized red made in Germany from Pinot Noir. Light and silky, with real varietal character.

A finished Pinot Noir is gently dealcoholized to preserve aromatics and texture, then balanced dry-leaning so it drinks like a cool-climate red. Contains sulfites.

Red cherry and raspberry with soft spice and a gentle tannin. Serve it lightly chilled, which suits Pinot better than room temperature.

About Wander + Found

A German Rhine-region range built with a long-established winemaker for the American market.

Wander + Found is made in Germany, in the Rhine, with a long-established winemaking partner and the team at Better Rhodes, who sell non-alcoholic drinks in North America. The idea was a range built for American tables rather than adapted for them.

The fruit comes off old-growth vines in a region with centuries of winemaking behind it. The wines are made in full and the alcohol taken out gently afterwards, which is what holds the aromatics and the texture in place.

The range covered a still white, a rosé, a Pinot Noir, and sparkling versions of the white and the rosé.

New to Non-Alcoholic Red Wines?

Both routes exist in this category: some reds are fermented as wine and then dealcoholized, others never fermented at all. The Process line on this page says which. Origin and grape still shape the wine the way they always did — Cabernet Sauvignon and Tempranillo keep their grip, Merlot and Garnacha land softer — and the alcohol figure is worth reading, since 0.0% and under 0.5% are not the same thing.

Common questions
Does it taste like Pinot Noir?
It keeps the grape's red-berry lift and its light, silky structure, which is why Pinot survives dealcoholization better than heavier reds.
Should I chill it?
Lightly, yes. Pinot shows better a little cool, and that is truer still without alcohol to carry the aromatics.
What does it go with?
Roast chicken, mushrooms, salmon, soft cheese.
