About Sparkling Rosé

Six 750 mL bottles of Bolle Sparkling Rosé, made from Chardonnay. White strawberry, red berries, blackcurrant and violet on the nose, then dry on the palate with medium acidity and a long, mineral finish. It pours light pink and clear.

Bolle ferments the wine twice — once as an ordinary wine, then again after the alcohol is removed, with their own yeast and fresh grape juice. That second fermentation is where the bubbles and the body come from, rather than from carbonation or added flavoring. The panel prints 15 calories and 2.8 g of sugar per 100 mL, none of it added. The Sparkling Rosé took a Gold Medal at the 2025 London Wine Competition, scoring 95, and was named Best Non-Alcoholic Rosé of the Year.

Serve chilled at 40–45°F. Three days once opened, refrigerated and re-corked with a sparkling-wine stopper.

About Bolle Drinks

Wine fermented a second time after the alcohol comes out, to rebuild what removing it takes away.

“Best Non-Alcoholic Rosé of the Year”
London Wine Competition, 2025

Bolle takes its name from a phrase in its founder's childhood. Roberto Vanin grew up in Treviso, where prendi una bottiglia di bolle — bring a bottle of bubbles — was the sentence that turned an evening into an occasion. The brand is built around that rather than around abstinence.

What separates it is a second fermentation. Taking the alcohol out of a wine takes the aromatic compounds and the body with it, which is why so much of the category tastes thin. Bolle ferments the wine again afterwards, with their own yeast strain and fresh grape juice, to rebuild what was lost — rather than adding flavoring or sugar to cover the gap. They hold a patent pending on the method.

The fruit comes from La Mancha, the high plateau south of Madrid, and the range runs from a Blanc de Blancs through a sparkling Rosé to a still Chardonnay. The Grand Reserve is the same Blanc de Blancs given nine months on the lees, which is where its brioche character comes from.

New to Non-Alcoholic Rose Wines?

Rosé here runs from bone dry to distinctly sweet, and the bottle rarely tells you which. The sugar per pour does.

Common questions
What does Bolle Sparkling Rosé taste like?
White strawberry, red berries, blackcurrant and violet on the nose, then dry on the palate with medium acidity and a long, mineral finish. It pours light pink and clear.
Is it sweet, like most non-alcoholic rosé?
No. It runs 2.8 g of sugar per 100 mL, none of it added, and reads dry rather than fruity-sweet. That is the point of the second fermentation — body without sugar.
How is it made?
Bolle ferments the wine twice — once as an ordinary wine, then again after the alcohol has been taken out, using their own yeast and fresh grape juice. Dealcoholization strips out the aromatic compounds and the body along with the alcohol; the second fermentation is how they put structure back rather than adding flavoring. It is what the brand is built around.
Is it alcohol-free?
Under 0.5% ABV, which is the legal threshold in the United States rather than a true 0.0%. These are dealcoholized, so there is a trace left. If you need a genuine zero, Seedlip and Ritual are never alcoholized.
