About Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon

Six bottles of the Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon, 750 mL each. Napa Valley is what gives this one its backbone. The tannin structure survives dealcoholization, which is the part most alcohol-removed reds lose.

Full in the mouth at 7 g of sugars in an 8 fl oz pour, dry enough to sit alongside food rather than in front of it.

About Luminara

A Napa Valley alcohol-removed wine from Trinchero Family Estates, built on appellation rather than volume.

Luminara comes from Trinchero Family Estates, a California wine company that has been family-owned and run from St. Helena since 1948. The same family built Sutter Home, and Luminara is where they turned that experience toward wine made without alcohol.

The brand rests on a single argument: appellation. Rather than sourcing broadly, Luminara set out to make the first Napa Valley appellated wine of its kind, on the reasoning that when there is nothing to hide behind, the quality of the fruit is the only thing left.

Napa Valley remains the home of the range. A Paso Robles Cabernet Sauvignon joined it in 2025, drawn from the Central Coast for a riper and more open style alongside the Napa bottlings.

New to Non-Alcoholic Red Wines?

Both routes exist in this category: some reds are fermented as wine and then dealcoholized, others never fermented at all. The Process line on this page says which. Origin and grape still shape the wine the way they always did — Cabernet Sauvignon and Tempranillo keep their grip, Merlot and Garnacha land softer — and the alcohol figure is worth reading, since 0.0% and under 0.5% are not the same thing.
