Meet the brand behind the bubbles

Copenhagen Sparkling Tea was founded by award-winning sommelier Jacob Kocemba and partner Bo Sten Hansen. Kocemba first created “sparkling tea” in 2010 while working at a Michelin-starred restaurant in Copenhagen, refining the idea into a new category that blends Nordic innovation with Asian tea traditions. The company launched in 2017, with its first bottle sold on May 26, 2017. Today, the brand’s lineup is poured in 100+ Michelin-starred restaurants across 50+ countries. Why the 375ml half-bottle format matters

Perfectly portioned. Half bottles deliver the ceremony of a Champagne silhouette with less waste—ideal for couples’ dinners, intimate events, and premium by-the-glass service.

Hospitality-ready. The format streamlines welcome pours and multi-course pairings while presenting as luxe and guest-friendly for weddings, corporate events, and VIP suites.

Giftworthy. The “mini-champagne” look travels well and fits beautifully in welcome baskets and thank-you boxes—without alcohol.

What to expect in the glass

BLÅ (0.0% ABV) is jasmine-led and citrus-lifted with soft white-tea florals, subtle green-tea tannin, and a clean, persistent finish—serve well-chilled in a flute or white-wine glass.

Behind the scenes, the teas are hand-brewed in small batches at precise temperatures and times; some cuvées can include up to 13 different organic teas for nuance and structure.

Where you’ll see it poured

The brand spotlights service in world-class dining rooms—Copenhagen’s three-star Geranium has featured sparkling-tea pairings—illustrating why sommeliers lean on tea-tannin, florals, and fine mousse as a food-pairing toolkit. Learn More
